I don’t get it, am I not supposed to have multiple friends?

Zero friends is preferred, but fatshark will settle for friends online on steam, but not on darktide.
It’s really wild. Some friends never show up, some show up after waiting for 15-30 seconds, some friends have a blank spot “reserved” for them in the upper left hand part of the box until it decides to show them. It has no problems immediately showing me if friends are online on steam but not currently in darktide. There is probably some issue with recognizing the character / class the player is on?
Since it’s “functional”, it’s low priority in the (rapidly shrinking) sea of problems this game has, but I’m hoping that it gets a one over at some point.

but yes, this exactly, I have to wait 30 seconds for my friends to show up.
Personally something that helps me speed it up is occasionally you will just need to close it and open it again, sometimes twice if its being really finicky. Afterwards it usually shows all my online friends.

The fact steam friends show instantly but Darktide friends don’t is genuinely mind boggling.
