Issue Summary:
When my Friends and i are Playing, Steam will not show me they are in game, they are just online.
The other way around its the same i am in game, i can see the green Vermintide 2 stuff, but for them i am just online.
This is not new since the Steam update. This started sometime after launch. It was working at the early betas.
But i never saw a Topic for this anywhere. Are my Friends and i just stupid and there is a easy and obvious fix for this?
And yes i know you can just ingame invite your Friends. But why not with Steam? Even Discord shows me they are in vermintide 2.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Try to join your Friend via Steam
  2. Steam will fail you there
  3. wait for a ingame invite

Reproduction Rate (Choose One):
Constant (100%)

I know you’ve mentioned this was an issue since launch (and not since the Steam update), but I have to ask - could you please confirm your ‘Game details’ setting in Steam is not set to private?
