No, as usual your opinion isn’t a fact. I don’t think for one second that “Fear Of Missing Out” has anything to do with the fact that you don’t see every one of the 20+ missions in Havoc.
Because everything has a time cost and a technical debt.

You also argued it doesn’t have anything to do with the store rotation, so I’m hard pressed to say there’s no point telling you anything here. Your nose is too brown to admit that companies design stuff according to psychological dynamics.
Except for the exact same systems in Vt2 of course that never removed any content. Deeds just existed with bespoke mods and then challenges existed with bespoke mods and then weaves existed with bespoke mods, nothing got removed in favor of the other similar concept
by the way thanks for welcoming me back. You might be a lolcow but you’re MY little lolcow
What you’re arguing (Havoc map selection is FOMO psychological tactics) is nonsense, and no further proof is needed than your last reply which slips off into more totally-unrelated ad hominem garbage.
You also said the exact same thing about the premium store rotation being FOMO being nonsense so what can I say to that buddy? Bury your head in the sand, your nose in Fatsharks rectum, it doesn’t change reality.
Seasonal rotations have no purpose other than FOMO. List one if oyu disagree
Quote it.
Edit: of course there’s no quote. Sorry for derailing this thread into DramaTide.
Make it easier on me, just say that the premium store is rotating because of FOMO right here and it’s as good as proving me wrong
Why even lock new content behind havoc. There’s no reason the modifiers can’t be made difficulty appropriate and added to the normal mission.
Cranial Corruption - just reduce the spawn rate. Maybe you only see a dozen or 2 the entire map on Malice, but there’s no reason why they should only in havoc. Someone spent some time making those models, why hide them behind havoc?
The Encroaching Garden - reduce the heal rate, and reduce the number that can spawn on the map. It’s a neat concept.
lmao, you won’t say it. So you do disagree that the store is FOMO but you just want to create a copout by telling me to quote one of your 20000 posts defending Fatshark. Using the same flimsy nonsensical reasoning for saying the FOMO store isn’t FOMO, you’re now saying that content being removed from the game seasonally isn’t FOMO.
I’ll say it again with gusto brother: Seasonal rotations have no “variety” purpose they exist to remove content to create a fear of missing out. You could just do seasonal additions instead and have the same thing without removing content and it would be objectively better for variety. Don’t act like this discussion ever derailed from the thread topic, this is what we’re talking about, literally 1:1 the topics title.
funnily enough this was actually a regular game modifier first, from an event. Also spawned some beasts of nurgle. They then removed it and eventually reused it for Havoc.
Also on the topic of variety relating to this: How much variety are new players gaining if content like this is removed seasonally or after an event ends? 0. All that time developing new modifiers and someone who plays today won’t even be able to access them to enrich his gameplay experience with more variety.
