Why do Braced Autos not have scaling dodge count?

You’re expected to used Brace Autoguns at close range, but the weapon doesn’t give extra dodges. All other Mobility bars give extra+scaling dodges. Is this just a forgotten leftover from beta when you couldn’t dodge with guns?

just because it’s a close range gun doesn’t mean it’s for dodging with.

yeah it would just be helpful, better to forget about these weapons rather than suggest buffs. you might get smoothed out of proper conversation.

does anyone remember the shredder? no, not the blitz. that’s basically the high mobility version of these guns, the goofy auto pistol is the 4th braced autogun unofficially and has way more movement than Graia. all of them desperately need an overhaul.

I find it funny that you have better spread when not aiming down the sights with IAGs than when bracing or not with the BAGs.

BAGs got some decent buffs recently, but I’m not that satisfied with their accuracy when and when not bracing. That forward handle should provide some sort of benefit when not aiming down the sights.

Agrip Brauto is decent enough, I don’t think it needs buffs outside of a universal change to aiming and spread for all 3 brautos.

The other 2 (3 if you count auto pistol lol) really need something.

Close range isn’t what it used to be. It’s finally useful, which means brauto blessings finally have a purpose. Brautos are pretty great on vet when you build into them. They’re a bit of a meme on zealot though.

As for dodging, the dodge rate on them is about perfect IMO. Enough to keep you out of trouble if you manage them well, not so many that you’re untouchable. Exactly where every weapon should be.

For transparency, I routinely go through 80%+ of runs with just the agri or colum brautos. It was 95%+, but FS went and f’d the ammo economy again by nuking survivalist. No, Fatshark balance monkeys, I haven’t forgotten.

I use Brace Autogun regularly. I don’t really need extra dodges but if they buff it I’ll enjoy it.
