I LOVE the map with the skybridge that ends with defending a landing pad (im terrible at remembering names). Its extremely pretty to look at and really makes me wish that it had a starry night sky overhead instead of just a featureless fog hiding the underside of a hive city “ceiling” (not bad on its own, just saying). this map also just happens to feel the most fun to play in for me, with the open spaces, massive bridge to tunnel enemies, and especially the last area where you have to defend a landing pad from waves of enemies.
The one with the least dogs. If you’re going to put dogs in a game, at least let me pet them.
They are all really cool but Hab dreyko ruins my fps in places for some reason. I think the maps are all really well done though couldn’t pick a favourite.
Hoping they will make new routes and more maps in the future there seems to be a lot of space you cant reach in the current ones we have.
For me it’s the tutorial map that retains the most positive associations for me. That pretty ship with all those comfy cells. It reminds me of a better time. A time when I was just an innocent little reject frolicking through blood-splattered corridors, humming a tune as I passed by the corpses of loyalist and heretic alike while simply basking in the music, the interior furnishings, the gothic looks, the cutscenes that had been so lovingly crafted… just drinking in the atmosphere of the universe I love so much finally brought into just the kind of game that I was certain I was going to love and play for thousands of hours.
It was a good time. A better time. An innocent time.
Then it ended. And in its place came FOMO-shops, plot-threads that ended before they seemingly began, and realistically callous superiors willing to throw me to the wolves, the sort which I could meet if I just head outside for a couple minutes.
Now all maps just seem to blend together in my brain. The only one in particular that I remember is the one with the cryonic rods, due to this writing on the wall:
