Btw, I am pretty sure you did not even try to loot chests. You know the little yellow boxes that can often offer you ammos.
What I see in the games is that players loot only what is just in front of them. And that 60% of the ammos on map are left behind.
There’s enough ammunitions… it is just that players need to learn to pick them.
This lol. I pick up maybe less then a fourth of the ammo i find personally and run out of ammo very VERY rarely despite being very shooting heavy.
They may be trying to be mainly shooter with a weapon very not made for it like bolter or revolver
I got accused of hacking for “always having ammo” despite just 1, having scavenger and 2…just bothering to look around…even a little
No wonder nobody is playing ranged Veteran, or basically ranged anything outside Psyker builds lately. Will be fun to seeing 2 people trying to make Exa Stance work in the same game fighting over pickups.

I myself have ran out of ammo, and also on other hand been able to manage better.
Honestly theres been many times having been at a point of peak player ability, and asking other players how was my performance was usually replied with rude responses (despite teamwork and positive player behavior) odd how much toxic player behavior we get in random pub games
helbore with shock trooper/surgical hardly needs to pick up ammo, I can definitely let people grab more than their share but the ammo hungry players just don’t look around enough.
Oh, definitely! But we are getting bolter buffs so just imagine 2 people with ranged vet build running Bolter, Brauto, Boltpistol, Infantry autogun, HH autogun…
You throw in someone that tries out new Scrier’s build or a more trigger happy Zealot into the mix and they’ll be dry before the midpoint on auric.
Again, I haven’t seen a ranged build in my past 20+ runs outside of Psyker and I think it’s not a coincidance.
True but it’s always a decision of when and what to shoot, if they run out still, it’s either their fault or someone else is taking too much ammo. We don’t need more ammo pick ups please
They should actually lower the amount of pickups and increase ammo for ranged specializations.
You can run a hybrid build with 0 worry about ammo, but on a ranged build if there is 1 more ranged specialist that sucks in melee you’ll have problems.
Melee is so much more powerful and easier to play anyway.
Tbh, I am one of the culprits who takes most of the ammo drops.
Either learn the drop locations or suffer. Im done having games with players not looting.

Too many times I ping ammo, no one goes for it even when in the dark orange, and I have to type in chat, “big ammo” for them to pick it up. Same with nades.
So many fkin people are toooooo lazy to loot. On god.
yeah you’ll tag 300 ammo pickups while people cry about needing ammo and asking that you drop the crate you found right before a dropoff point in the level. at this point I don’t care, half the time I hand a health booster to someone they don’t even use it on last wound later and I pluck it off their dead body.

50% of the time, if I ping something the players won’t even try to come. This can go up to 95% of the time if they are at more than 15 meters ahead.
So, like you, I often drop a booster, I could use, to give the health booster to someone with only 1 wound remaining.
I have also learnt to pass a medikit / ammo crate to a player… cause they don’t bother to carry it. The only problem is that, sometimes, they drop it immediately on floor. Do they know that carrying a crate won’t slow you? I really wonder about that.
Also, you can run in an other problem. Several won’t notice that I had given them a crate (especially when I cannot type in chat cause of the well known bug). So, while it is risky, this is the only way I have found to make them carrying a crate. But, this makes me in need to come back to pick the other crate, and so I will be away of the group more time.
That’s really annoying the players that don’t loot.
And I hate the guys that want you to drop the ammo crate cause they did not bother looting the 15 ammo packs you tagged…
