Heavy Sword is the cleaving weapon though, so its a bad comparison to make. Like the only thing better would be the goofy amount of enemies certain axe hits do with BM, and powered up swords for cleave. Eviscerator controls enough enemies, it just does too low damage.

I’ll test it out but isn’t the other cleave blessing the obvious choice considering it gives 200% cleave rather than maxing at 100%

Having now transitionned to other weapons, I’m just incredibly underwhelmed by it.
My perfect roll just tickles enemies.
Ev is overshadowed by weapons that have unbalanced blessings, that is all.
Axe has infinite cleave with BM (who thought that was a good idea devs? who?)
Heavy swords have two overperforming blessings.

You are right. All melee weapons should have access to the Brutal Momentum blessing. Not just axes.
You’re the one coming on here blasting everything and seemingly getting really upset about it. Maybe don’t play this game, it gets your blood pressure too high.
If I ever get it as a roll, maybe. RNG (as you know) only gives me so much leeway to put what I want on there, plus this does what I need it to for the moment, so I’m not inclined to spend however long the FS RNG gods decide it’ll take for me to get a better one.

Who is upset? The Eviscerator is just a subpar weapon past Malice. Thats how it is, you are the one arguing its so great and all. It is not. For what it should be, lore wise, it is a bad joke.

I’m using it with success in Damnation+, so I don’t know what to tell you. Maybe find better jokes?
I use subpar weapons in damnation all the time. That doesn’t make them good. I still have to test your build but its decidedly the case that the eviscerator kinda blows. I’ll be going over it in detail within the next week or so but unless your build surprises by a lot;
Low dodge count
Kinda meh damage
Slow swing speed
Bad blessing pool
Body priority on swings causes low damage to priority targets often
Special attack is risky
Weak cleave damage
As a lunatic chainaxe enjoyer myself i’m not going to criticize your weapon choice. But i will inform you that, objectively, its a bad weapon when compared to the heavy sword or the combat axe. But those weapons are boring so, more power to you for having fun and playing with fun weapons.

To be fair, dodge limit of the eviscerator is 4. So that is a plus.

If you like it, by all means, i’m not trying to take away your enjoyment. Also, if you do well in Damnation with it, compared to other weapons, more power to you.
Before I ever got interested in thunder hammers or chain axes I was an ++HEAVY CHAINSWORD++ lover myself. However I am finding the weapon quite unpleasant currently as I go through my testing process. Here are the suite of weapons I am testing. Just for our collective amusement.

ok i been staying away from this thread cause i know its not the best weapon, but there is some pretty severe skill issues going on here. evis is alot better than some of u guys are making it out to be. single target dmg on it is pretty high. not to mention it can one shot maulers, bulwarks, and reapers. if u rock the perk, also crushers.
try blood letter and savage sweep. u wont be disappointed
Do you mean if you use Chastise the wicked? Because 25% carapace won’t even come close to a oneshot even if you can get lucky and hit the head. Or are you speaking to waiting out the bloodletter stacks to finish the job?
It takes two full rev attacks with my eviscerators above to kill a bulwark. 25% unyielding would not be enough there either.
with ult yes. should have specified. reaper and crusher need ult. everything else like bulkworks, maulters, muties dont need ult. light 1 all flak shooters die. 2 lights shotgunners, elite gunners die. 1 heavy flamers die. it gets wild. but the special with bloodletter is nice for many reasons including ult charge in horde. can spam like crazy.
test flak maniacs bloodletter savage sweep using bleed knife talents and 6 stacks martyrdom if you’re still into testing it. i been streaming this for 3 weeks on hi int and/or shock troop on twitch. deals with everything granted u can maintain some stacks. generally around 400k dmg and very high boss dmg. again, i have alot of time with it so i know alot of ppl get rooted when they use the special action. thats why i like it cause u can slide and stay mobile while sawing. surprisingly better at 1 shotting than thunderhammer

Do you use a specific build? it sounds like you do. I will not be testing using any martyrdom stacks as part of the tests because they, fundamentally, can be applied to any weapon. Admittedly some weapons may receive outsized benefits from hitting new breakpoints but I want to avoid testing around that for now, since I’m trying to create a reliable baseline other people can bounce off of to demonstrated just how good their build is.
