Yeah I guess. But you cant deny that even that screenshot, it shows no information worthy of being called such, so even as a consolation thing for having to delay their communications plan, it is waaaaay too unsubstantial. And that is where it feels aggravating. Even if “we got something at least” what we got was essentially nothing.
I hope we don’t have to wait another week for news

My advice for you is to have something else you also play on the side. Give back the energy you are given. Fatshark gives you new updates occasionally and some info post maybe maybe not every other week or month. So that’s also the pace you can give back without upsetting yourself.
Maybe part of the reason that I’m not flustered by all this is my other habits keeping me distracted.
If Fatshark posts: Yay, nice.
If Fatshark doesn’t post: Okay, guess I go back to Pawn Badge farming in Dragon’s Dogma 2 or back to being abused in Dota 2 for not warding in the right places.
Don’t channel all your energy into something that only halfway reciprocrates. Real advice, also works really well with other people IRL.

While I agree with not wasting your entire time moaning about FS, they should be given the amount of sht that is appropriate to their negligence and incompetence. Which as we’ve seen is a lot. Otherwise things don’t change.
Even if they don’t change, I’d rather see companies like FS go under and set a precedent.
Also, F farming the chimera badge. They really need to up the spawns in NG+

I would advise everyone to save their vitriol for after this Thursday. There was no way we were going to get it today and probably not tomorrow either.
While usually I would agree, the screenshot we got was pretty lame imo. They turned what was a nice looking vendor station into a trash heap. It looks nicer now than it does in that screenshot.

Y’know, applying Fatshark’s apparent philosophy of ‘we need 2x the time of the vacation to recover from vacation’ to weekends, we can find out why they so rarely do anything! They spend Monday through Thursday recovering from the weekends!

Last couple shop schema updates have been Wednesday (until the most recent one they forgot lol) soo unless they decided to just roll with Friday I think there should be some hotfix for the sake of the item schema before or probably at the same time as this post.
Unless they all went into the same wormhole which appears to be the case.

Thinking about this lovely thread and the update to the OP announcing the delay of the announcement about the update… and the wheels in my head got turning (a dangerous pastime I know)…
We’re effectively back in limbo with no timeline. There was no timeline in the original announcement other than “2024” sometime… and now there is no timeline for even releasing the dev diaries or other communications. So we’re back in total limbo again. Brilliant.

Great announcement. At least they rolled out the picture, but even so they couldn’t indicate WHAT would be there. My guess is rewards for achievements, but what am I talking about, free cosmetics from FS? It would be better to have a second donation store that will accommodate the last 4 released styles, instead of 3.
Funny sharks… I remember last year, around the announcement of the 13th patch, there was a complete feeling that the game was dead and I needed to leave, but here is the announcement and motivation to play. And now they have rolled out a picture without a description of what will be there, is it really so difficult to write what exactly you will enter? And if it doesn’t work out or your plans change, then unsubscribe that they changed a little to this and that - this option is much better than just leaving people to wait.
3k online on weekends or on very lucky evenings, well, the sharks definitely understand what to do with the game so that it doesn’t die…
Although funny, I don’t think this is the right way. I believe you are referencing to “beatings will continue until morale improves”, and one could argue that this is what Fatshark is doing to us. They beat us with silence and lack of updates, until we improve our attitude.
