How hard is it to say that the announcement got delayed instead of breaking yet another promise, Fatshark?

Jeez Fatshark is absolutely helpless at ramping up the hype. Increased online to 30k - go no content and silent mode, 3k again.
Said there will be news, people get hyped. No news, people start being nervous - FS is still silent.

Are there currently any plans to take a crack at performance issues? After a recent AMD Adrenaline software update (23.11.1 I believe) the games performance has been just awful. Lots of stuttering and sub 30FPS on really good hardware. I can run other more visually demanding games (like cyberpunk for example) on all ultra settings with almost constant 60FPS, but dark tide chugs like no tomorrow. It’s just downright confusing!

Will these quality of life updates include an account wide armory? I’m kinda sick of needing three duplicates of every lasgun, auto gun, relic, and mele for my three human characters…
Fatshark does not make the cosmetics, that’s are outsourced to a Chinese company that works with AAA game development studios. The penance sets have been in the game files for a long time, and as we all know, many of the items in the game files may never be released.
This is not intended to be rude to Fatshark, but I am genuinely interested in what they do during work hours because (from someone just pulling stuff out of their behind (me)) their output does not match the number of employees and a 40-hour work week compared to Arrowhead, which is a smaller studio that churns out content like crazy.
What do Fatshark employees actually do/produce during the course of a week?

Is math the enemy? How is trying to be more optimal a lesser way to enjoy a game?
Whatever your point may be, I can’t find a logical way to understand what that was supposed to mean.
I am simply not a bot that just blindly keeps doing something for the sake of doing it. If that’s how you enjoy it, more power to you but not using my brain is simply not for me.

Those two are not the same thing at all.
I can chose to aim for the weakest parts of the enemy while I can’t chose how much HP the enemy can have.
If you chose to have a spray and pray playstyle, that’s up to you and perfectly valid. But it was your choice to introduce that variance into your experience and not a design decision made by the game.
That 2nd bit is what I’m against.
And it shouldn’t be! RNG HP is just the inverse of RNG Weapon stats. Neither should exist.
Regarding crafting; it would be “the worst” solution as it’s no solution at all.
The original point was that he said that HP rng would help combat the breakpoint behaviour, which is simply wrong.

I did not buy any for several months and won’t unless they put a system similar to “for the drip” mod
They will never do this because they will be unable to sell recolors, which would require them to either start making their cosmetics in-house or pay the Chinese company significantly more money to produce more cosmetics faster.
We are all aware of the cosmetics that are waiting in the game files, and while some are excited for the green Kaskrin Cadia set, it is yet another recolor, specifically a green recolor of the desert burn set.
Consider this: the majority of the cosmetics we receive have constant reused assets from previous cosmetics. Typically, the pants or headgear are removed from previous sets and slapped on top of the new ones without being recolored even.
Having an MTX store that only rotates twice a month and has only three pages of offerings is insane in and of itself, and it contradicts the concept of profit.
If I had an online game where I sold cosmetics, I would have pages of items constantly on sale with text like “GET THIS NOW 800% OFF” and " YOU WOULD BE AN IDIOT TO NOT BUY IT NOW WHEN IT’S BASICALLY FREE" (Diablo 4 lol) to tempt people to spend money and fund my company.
The purpose of having a cosmetics store is to make money, but Fatshark isn’t even running that part of their business properly.

yes, they did not understood that not selling something priced 25 € is worst than selling 4 000 items at 5 €…
We all have understood that they want selling recolors… problem is that simple recolors are at a price of a set of 12 cosmetics well designed on an other game. So, when you expect people to pay you the price of a DLC for a cosmetic set, you have to sell something valuable. A simple recolor is not worth the price they ask.
They can think this is uneeded to ameliorate the system. There is nothing I, or we, can do to force them to go for it. However, I won’t give them money anymore. And I guess I am not alone considering the advertissements on launcher. At the end of the day, this is their business plan… if it works, they would be dumb to change it, but if it doesn’t they would be also dumb to not change their behaviour.

I do not see any new ones, just the “Squad Leader,” “Gunlugger,” “Empath Witch”, “Thought Witch” and other sets that have been in the gamefiles for quite some time.
Oh, for anyone wondering; the unreleased penance sets also have several recolors!

If these are the ones you are referring to, they have been in the files for a long time, unless DAWI has some secret inside information that no one else can see.
Again, I am too lazy to photoshop together the entire set…
