What happened to the wolf guy?

Hi!
What happened to the big bad guy that was commanding the twins or whatever? They think his name was wolfer? Did FS introduce the final boss 8 months ago and then move on?

Still is kicking and is used as a Vocator.

Don’t think we will ever face him, Same thing for Urmal, who I expect to end up being the Dreg named lord who happen to be a Vocator

Why do you think we won’t?!?! I feel like completing that story would be really cool. It could be like a raid or a Chaos Wastes thing where he is the end boss!

What is a vocator? Does it involve a musical instrument?

In vermintide 2 we do destroy the skittergate and complete the story, so i wouldnt write him off just yet.

It would be like if Rannick went with us on a mission and died unexpectedly.

Wolfer is now a de-facto leader of heretical Moebian 6th and the entire Nurgle invasion on Atoma. If he dies, the invasion seizes and the game sort of… ends? Not very good for the game, isn’t it.

Unless they write in another, bigger bad guy, who we then would have to kill in another event, and on and on and on. Too much drama for one world in the Imperium that is not Cadia, i think :smiley:

Rasknit and the Skittergate aren’t involved in other missions

  • Rasknit only appear in the Prologue and the Skittergate
  • Skittergate being destroyed kept a status quo.

Darktide has the missions happen every so often, so the Vocators (Npc who talk during missions other than the player: Hadron, Rannick, Zola, Wolfer…) have to remain alive or their voice lines have to be pulled out.

No, but he is the only identified person (other than Urmal) that is active, there’s Colonel Gortun, and the Dreg leaders, but also the one that pull the string behind this macabre play (Which most likely will either end up being Be’lakhor, or someone that Be’lakhor will want to supplant)

Don’t forget the noble houses. Pretty sure at least one of them is involved.

Right, the game is focused on Wolfer currently.
It would be nice if we see other “villains”, but the current turn around of content is so lengthy, the game might die of natural causes before we see any others.

They still haven’t introduced who Wolfer was swearing allegiance to in one of the trailers.
