What do you think Fatshark is working on?

Darktide 2 or Vermitide 3?

VT3 seeing as what GW’s been relaunching lately.

Another bait and switch game… More over priced cosmetics…

After DT, I really couldn’t give a flying ^£&* about their next game. Never going to get it. Why should I care or give money to a developer that now uses abhorrent practices to force players to hand over more money.

Haven’t even completed DT after 18 months.

Lied about crafting…

Now owned by TenCents, so now every time you buy, you will be funding the CCP in the aims of stealing land and persecuting the people of Hong Kong, Tibet, etc.

If DT had managed to fix its problems within a year, I’d care.

However, it’s manifestly clear that whatever Fatshark is working on, it’s not Darktide.

This was my first Fatshark game and it will certainly be my last unless they course correct and stop treating players like garbage.

3rd Project

Im just saying whats most likely.

They’re working on [redacted] for the new game.

But I’ll reiterate here, as of March 2024, it was/is the smallest team in the studio.

I’m kinda hoping it might be a Tide game with an original IP so James Workshop has no say in it. I wanna see what the artists can cook when they’re allowed to just make whatever they want.

Oh sweet sweet summer child.

I’m really interested to see how their sales are affected in the next game after Darktide.

It’s going to be okay bro. I’m sure Fatshark has learned from Darktide and will strive to treat its players better =)

I would like to feel the same… The truth is, they are now owned by TenCents and they don’t care. It’s about money to them. So we either, don’t pay for future games until they correct their ways, which will most likely lead to the closure of the studio. Or we keep paying and reinforcing these abhorrent practices and giving them the green light to keep doing it.

I would rather keep collapsing studios and not keep giving my money to utter greedy selfish scumbags.

And if developers want to keep their jobs, earn money or whatever, then setup new studios and stop selling your souls to absolute scum, for money.

Start off small and start building yourselves up.

DT is already a great game with even more unlocked potential.

Im happy with what they have delivered so far but ofc im hoping for more content.

If no more content is coming then i salute Fatshark for a job well done and money well spend.

As for what theyre working on, fingers crossed it has something to do with more DT content

After darktide I could really not care less about what their next game is. Vermintide 3, darktide 2, whatever it is I’m gonna let it sit for some time before considering buying it*. That way I don’t have to worry about dealing with “We’ve made a bunch of things worse, for no good reason! Please enjoy waiting possibly 18+ months for us to fix huge issues with core systems of the game :^)” again.

*Barring human error. I mean I’m pretty sure I won’t, I avoided Payday 3 pretty well, even with a lot of hours in Payday 2.

Dreadlands 2?!?

If Fatshark produces another game, that has the same-ish type of visceral, gory melee combat than I’ll get it. A warhammer coat of paint makes it even more appetizing for me, although it’s a douvle edged sword as GW is GW.

Am I dissapointed with DT’s post launch support? Definitely. Not a question in my mind about that. However considering it’s my second most played game of all time (maybe I played a PS 4 game more, I don’t remember) I get my money’s worth a hundred times over.

Atm there’s nothing else that really can push FS out of that space. KF 3 is interesting to watch, but considering what has been happening with sequels across the industry I’m not exactly optimistic on it being good.

Payday 3 still makes me sad. I’m very happy I didn’t buy it, but it’s still very depressing.
