Presumably the fixing of the left hand portion of the arbitrator’s talent tree.
And hopefully that visual bug on the arbitrator’s pistol/shield picture where the pistol’s drum is dropping.
Is there anything else that players have been waiting for?

nerfing Arbites
If you’re so salty, just play as arbitrator while waiting for your class to get fixed lol
Arbites feels like a god-mode class, so I quickly got bored of it. It’s like using cheats in a single-player game, fun for a moment, but it gets boring right away. Still, this feeling might be something others don’t understand…
I predicted that the patch will come with some nerfs to the key talents. But I could be wrong
I don’t think there will be much in this patch. It’s probably just bugfix. I can’t imagine they having enough time to consider balance during the summer.
A pink recolour of a cosmetic set? Something Sweden thinks we have forgotten about.
I have Aribtrator DLC, but I cannot bothered to play the class. Easy mode doesn’t describe it.
I’d like to see zealot and vet talent tree reworks, hopefully AFTER Fatshark realises that the Ogryn tree rework and Arbitrator talent tree choices give players too much safety and power.
I’d like to see more playstyle variety / options from ALL talent trees, not just simple power / defence buff stacking.
Do you regularly clear havoc 40? Because if you don’t, like the vast majority of the playerbase, then you can always challenge yourself with that before nerfing anything.
Encountering arbys who go solo in H40 has become a common sight for me.
They have become the new knife zealot, but they can do it in Havoc 40 which is insane, and they don’t die unless a trapper gets them.
I like my shield arby, but that crap needs a hard rebalance, or just reskin them to a space marine cause that’s what they currently represent.
nerfing arbites
Definitely not a weapon for Veteran.
by that logic it’s back to sticks, stones, caves and wearing fur again cause the “vast majority” is always “inferior”
players that suck do so with arbites as well, they die a tad later and do more damage until then, which are undeserved merits given their shoddy performance.
i’ve witnessed some really poor gameplay going way further until hitting the dirt eventually, stuff that teaches wrong behavior and wipes within 30 seconds with any other class, ogryn included.
so yeah, let’s “take the toy away from the kids” before they grow to be spoiled adults ![]()
This sounds extremely unlikely, because my experience (which has the same statistical value as yours, despite the difference in gaming skills) suggests that the average player (which comprises the vast majority of the playerbase, me included) struggles in auric regardless of the class.
Now, I’m sure some elitist will say that anything below havoc 40 is a cakewalk and that the arbitrator can solo it, but that’s the kind of claim we can confidently set aside as statistically irrelevant.
The reason Auric can become either extremely difficult or surprisingly easy is that there is a huge gap in the skill levels of participating players, and performance varies greatly depending on the builds and weapons they use.
For example, consider a group of four players who are qualified to attempt Auric. Of course, there will be some variation in skill, but these are players who at the very least can clear Damnation. If these four players use Gold Toughness, Ogryn, Arbites, or similar strong setups, the game essentially turns into a walking simulator, and unless an unlucky accident occurs, the run will succeed, probably with a win rate of over 90%.
On the other hand, if the same four players attempt a run without using any meta setups such as Ogryn, Arbites, DS, or Gold Toughness, the game becomes reasonably challenging, with a probable win rate of around 50%. This is how the difficulty is supposed to be.
But the reality now is that a large number of players below Heresy are gathering in Auric. You might not realize it, but Auric is the highest difficulty. Let me say it again: it is the highest difficulty.
I sent you the Lua, why can’t you make them work in-game? Skill issue.

Woah! You touched the wasps nest there I see.
As for the topic in question and not a barely on topic pointless circle-jerk about balance aside, the bare minimum I expect from 1.8.5 is:
Expecting anything else is unrealistic imo.
Most realistic take.
Won’t happen
But Vet and zealot will be buffed to the arbitrator / ogryn level.
