Seems best to try and collate to one thread as that worked pretty well for the cosmetic outcry.

Yeah its much easier than before. Probably also what fuels the whole Arbites is OP Debate when the Games difficulty got nerfed alongside its release.

And Auric MS is like…just gone…played a couple of Auric Matches with the old Classes too and its just a Cakewalk

It seems like Fatshark is saying, “If Auric is too easy, then go play Havoc.”

Well kind of the logical Step if you get better at the Game to play the higher difficulty and thats Havoc.

However it would be better if we had another higher base-difficulty on the Mission Board after Damnation / Auric. Havoc ain’t bad but some of its Debuffs and Modifiers really limit Builds and Weapons and sometimes barely anyone playing it and can take a good while to even start a Match and hf when someone just leaves in higher ones, basic Mission Board is just way more convenient and you can hop right into a Match

The balance had already been in a pretty bad state for a while, but after the update, it’s beyond terrible. It’s like we’re being told to either play Havoc or quit the game now that Auric is gone.

And that’s a big fraggin problem if so.

Did they nerf aurics? I’d been trying to get Auric Storm Survivor for about a week pre-arbites patch (after a year + break), and my record was three games without dying. Arbites came out, and I got it a few days later. Granted, there’s always some randomness to the modifiers and spawns, but it has been seeming a little easier. Though that could just be the Arbites effect, it’s pretty strong at the moment.

After leveling mine and unlocking Aurics, I got three wins without dying on my first three Auric maelstroms on my arbitrator. Then I swapped back to psyker/zealot and got the penance a few days later in QP (without cheesing, was actually 6 wins, joined one late). I wanted it to feel like I earned it, and was worried I wouldn’t if I got it playing Arb.

Havoc is nearly unplayable and unpleasant for me since the update. Last week I was able to do 40’s with relative fun, but between the server side issues and RNG spawns I’ve been just frustrated.

Auric is a sleep walk and even Maelstrom is pretty breezy more often than not. I really don’t know what the hell they did. I would play Havoc more if I didn’t get DCs every game or have 5 bosses dropped on our heads constantly. I don’t remember it being like this pre-update or I’ve just been really lucky before.

i’ve never really thought the game was very difficult even before the changes. havoc can obviously be be, but when it comes to the normal missions, the only times it’s ever really difficult is when you get dumbasses on your team lol

the only way I’d play havoc is if party finder was removed and the health/toughness/ammo nerfs were removed

Look Fatshark, I know we have Havoc for all those people who like hitting rocks together over and over again…but this needs to be fixed, and not lazy hot-fixed, but looked into, heatmaps and stats and all.

Does this mean you’ve run some Aurics since this update and they’re still broken?

So I’ve tried the changes they have made to Auric with the latest hotfix where you have Regular Auric (Which is “Old Auric Damnation”) and the newest version which is High intensity Auric and that’s supposed to be even more intense than the old version of Auric.

I’ve ran a mission on both and it feels the exact same to me, and auric does not feel like it was pre-patch

Just for good measure I did run a regular damnation to see if there is a difference and there is but I don’t know what has changed but Auric just feels empty.

I ran some when levelling the Arbi, and they weren’t of the campaign variety. @FatsharkJulia reported since they fixed the issue, but I’m not sure anymore. After that I only did some solo games, but I don’t think pacing in solo games is the same as with a full party.

I “reopened the case” after that fix though:

But I haven’t gotten to play today and won’t for a bit, so I can’t speak to what, if anything, this latest update did.

What was the final enemy kill count? Do you remember? Scoreboard details would be useful too.

Do you quickplay? Did you take into account the separate issue of campaign back fill?
