Why can’t Xbox players play with steam players? It’s all on the pc. I can understand your business practices, so let me give you a suggestion: make the save can be interexchanged or transferred, so that I can buy a game on steam for the sake of more steam people online, but if I have to discard the save, I won’t do it
Yeah, the ball was dropped really hard on cross play. Ideally it should have been in at release or shortly after, it’s been “worked on” for the last 6 months. Now Gamepass is a ghost town of a player base, and the lack of save transfer means that whoever’s left are generally unwilling to lock their progress and start again on a different platform.

We don’t know yet for certain until tmrw, but sites like this https://www.gamewatcher.com/news/warhammer-40k-darktide-rejects-unite-content-update
are saying they’re adding crossplay in some fashion in the next patch.
No official statement from FS regarding crossplay. Correct me if im wrong.
There are at least 3 that I can think of, give me a bit to try to dig them out. Official as in from CMs or devs, not official as in comm-link or devblog.
