So, basically, I was making a joke of how Xbox players got free aquilas, and there was always hope that us PC Beta players would have gotten a littlle some some for our toil
Now we get something. It’s not free, but it’s a really good price, that it feels all the more cynical.
So, for my very serious fellow rejects, it’s not directly meant to be funny, but you can still get it…Right?
You’re talking about the 2 times they gave 500 aquilas during events? Peanut shells compared to what Xbox users got for no reason whatsoever, while early adopters get shafted? Nah, foo. That ain’t it. It was a bit of a reference joke to the xbox aquilas, but it’s fine if it flew over your head. It’s not meant to be taken serious.

It’s ok, it was just unfunny, it happens. Even with the context you give it’s still not funny. The trick to giving context for comedy is to actually give context as part of the joke. We can’t read your mind and Fatshark has had more gaffs than they have released games.
The Xbox situation was really bad PR on Fatshark’s part, but it was a limited time offer where xbox/gamepass players got the amount of aquila for the box price of the game they were already playing for ‘free’ as part of a gamepass sub.

you could access the game for free as long as you had xbox live. dunno how game pass works now with tiers but yeah it was 14000 aquillas for the low low price of 14000 aquillas in all actuality (and I guess the trash Mortis Operative gear) but people like OP are STILL tilted AND wrong about this story. like good lord at least get the facts straight, and then get over it, because it has been 2 years.

I already got something for free from this offer being given to players who already had to deal with Darktide being delayed a year (remember the announcement was originally for a PC/Xbox exclusive). If you get tilted by this you are terminally online.
And yes they did give you the Moebian 21st cosmetics over this, so whether or not you think that was ‘enough’ is entirely on you and your weird fixation on video game companies ‘owing’ you things.
