It sums up where I am at. I’ve stuck up for the game, but really, deep down, I’m hugely disappointed.
I’ve got maybe 5 years of Verm 1 & 2 across Xbox and then PC and I just didn’t know how Fatshark messed this game up so much. Why isn’t it better Verm 2 in 4dK?
The video talk about levels being all the same (just saw the level designer blog). Verm 1 and 2 were distinctive.
The video talks about 15 classes in Verm 2. Darktide has 4.
The video talks about various things. I’m just so disappointed.
My friends and I have gone back to Verm 2, and even a little Verm 1. They are both so much better.
Id been arguiong with them that Darktide will get there, but honestly, I’m not all that sure of that.
In fact, writing this now, I’m not even sure why I am bothering.
Fatshark, please watch the video. I’m sure it will help you. It’s explained better than I can do. Its not the problems at launch. It’s not how amazing it all looks. It’s the game. I just don’t really see any point in playing it… And I’m a huge Verm fan.

Makes a lot of good points. I never played vt2 but you can tell dark tide wasn’t finished on release. Hope they dont try to charge me for the rest of the game lol.

It was nice to see the comparisons side-by-side of VT2 at launch vs DT.

Don’t get me wrong VT2 crafting was bollocks really, took far too long to get red weapons and skins you wanted and it is still significantly better than DT.

I’ve got more chance of having a Christmas bunk Up with Bananarama than actually getting anything close to a good weapon in DT.
