As the title says,
The combination of the talents blazing bright and “the comets gift” is neglecting damage of overkill hits.
Usually it should work like this, that at first you will eat the damage and afterwards the talents will be executed. But overkill damage seems to mess with it and will save you from a certain onehit death because you will never take this damage, as long as the hit deals overkill damage. This means it still kind of “revives” (by preventing a certain death) you as long as the incoming hit deals overkill damage.
