Warren-16 is classified wrong Part 2: I'm still mad about it

Part 1: Why is Excise Vault "Investigation" but Warren-16 isn't?

Warren-16, the “Obscura Den” one, is marked as a “Disruption” mission. Despite the premise for 90% of the map being “We need to investigate this Obscura Den and gather intel”, and despite having a data scan objective, which is featured as the icon for the Investigation type.

The counterargument: “Well, mission classification only really refers to the end of the mission, where we disrupt their operations.” (Despite the comms operators repeatedly saying that’s not the point, intel gathering was the point and blowing stuff up was for fun.)

Then Dark Communion comes out.

An investigation map where we disrupt a ritual at the end.

At a certain point I’m going to take this trivial matter personally, Fatshark!

And I can already see the argument here. But I think we all know that “investigating what’s happening at the cathedral” is far less important than “stopping whatever the Hel is happening at the cathedral”. We’re not there to gather intel, we’re there to wreck house. Doesn’t even have a data scan objective at any point.

Hab Dreyko. shudder

For over a year the only scan mission available to get your 100 mission type penance. Argh. It still haunts me now. Then I realised there was another threshold at 250!

Honestly, I’d just take an axe to that tree if I could. Blast the Intel!

Not to mention that we only had 1 repair mission for the longest time too.
