What people don’t want you to know is that Karl Franz is really the name of Kruber’s ole faithful dog that ended up being kidnapped and murdered by the skaven.
It was the first casualty in the war. Kruber was devastated and made it his dying wish to kill every last skaven rat with his 2h sword with his puppy’s name on it.
