Victor becoming a vampire - is a good idea. But you can’t just become a vampire after getting a simple bite or a scratch. Blood kiss - is a ritual, which is done on purpose and can be performed by a strong vampire. Some of them even unable to turn people into vampires, because of their thin blood.
