Always be prepared: When you switch to a ranged weapon, if there is at least one layer of ranged expert buff, each layer of ranged expert buff will transfer 3.3% of the current ranged weapon magazine’s bullets from the backup to the player’s currently equipped ranged weapon
When stacking 10 layers, restore 33% of the current magazine’s ammunition. For example, the plasma magazine has 135 rounds. When the magazine is empty, it can restore 135X0.33=44.55 rounds → 45 rounds.
But if there is already ammunition in the magazine, then subtract 33% of the current ammunition from the total number of magazines. For example, if the plasma magazine has 135 rounds, when there are 45 rounds left in the magazine, it can recover (135-45) X0.33=29.7 rounds → 30 rounds of ammunition.
Overall, the more ammunition remains in the magazine, the poorer the ammunition recovery effect given by the skill.
Use ranged weapons to kill any enemy and give 1 level of melee expert buff
When you switch to melee weapons, if there is at least one layer of melee expert buff, then give 15% melee attack speed, 10% dodge distance, and dodge speed for 10 seconds
BUG: Dodge distance and speed, currently not effective
Use melee weapons to kill any enemy, give 1 layer of ranged expert buff, stack up to 10 layers
When you switch to a ranged weapon, if there is at least one layer of ranged expert buff, it will give the player a 33% critical strike chance (up to 3 layers), and each layer of ranged expert buff will increase the ranged weapon’s firing rate by 2% (up to 10 layers)
BUG: When the player’s ultimate move is the Executor stance, pressing the ultimate move will switch to a ranged weapon, but this switch cannot trigger the ranged expert buff. You must manually press 2 to trigger the ranged expert buff
BUG: Critical hit bonus, firing rate bonus, currently not effective
As you can see on the screenshot provided by OP, the talent says that it replenishes x% of the ammo missing from your mag , not x% of the total mag capacity.
If your mag is 100% empy, you get 100% of the effect.
If your mag is 50% empty you only get 50% of the effect.
Look at the numbers with that in mind and reevaluate if they make sense.
Has been a while that i tested this, but i am pretty sure that it works as it should.
Like “it will always give 3.3% per stack unless your mag can be filled by less”, but less of all someone would expect that it’s almost never 3.3% per stack.
We are having this conversation because you did not read it properly, or because you have problems understanding the language.
There are a lot of discussions entirely based around someone not reading something, or ignoring a piece of information.
You can criticize fs for a lot of things, bad (and wrong) descriptions being one of them.
But in this case, none of the confusion can be blamed on fs or the description.
Anyway, i do not think that you will change your mind, so we should end this discussion here.
Maybe they read this and change the talent so that it always restores x% of max mag capacity so that it is easier to understand due to being more intuitive.
