When stacking 10 layers, restore 33% of the current magazine’s ammunition. For example, the plasma magazine has 135 rounds, and when the magazine is empty to 0, it can restore 135X0.33=44.55 rounds → 45 rounds.

But if of course there is already ammunition in the magazine, then subtract 33% of the current ammunition from the total number of magazines. For example, the plasma magazine has 135 rounds, and when there are 45 rounds left in the magazine, it can recover (135 45) X0.33=29.7 rounds → 30 rounds of ammunition.

Overall, the more ammunition retained in the magazine, the poorer the ammunition recovery effect given by the skill.

This makes this skill most useful in weapons like the revolver, maybe shotguns, maybe Vraks mkVII headhunter, etc. where the loaded ammo count is relatively small and quick to deplete, and a few melee kills and switching back will give you ammo to work with and avoid a longer reload process.

Also - I didn’t read the talent description correctly, but it doesn’t actually generate more ammo, it just magically reloads your weapon and draws ammo from your existing reserve.

Actually, there is another bug that you may not have seen before

Loyal Plasma Never Overheats BUG: When using plasma, fire X rounds of ammunition and start loading. At this point, do not complete the entire loading animation, just maintain 0% of the ammunition. Then cut into melee weapons to kill the enemy and accumulate a remote expert buff. Next, switch to a remote weapon. At this point, your plasma will transfer 33% of the bullets from the backup to the magazine, but a bug will appear. No matter how you fire, the heat will be instantly cleared until you perform the reload animation (but as long as you don’t finish the reload animation, the bug will remain). You can use this bug to continuously fill the magazine with ammunition up to 100%.

I thought they fixed that bug, it was a thing when Sustained Fire (instant reload on Volley Fire activation) was still a thing.
