Veteran tree has too many nodes

Fatshark just keeps disappointing. More isn’t merrier in the Veteran’s case.
They should outright remove, or merge together, several talents so reduce the bloat.

Minimum pts to get to keystone is 20, going either left or right. It’s only 21 going down the middle.

What is an “ability subtalent” if not the talents you go through to reach a keystone? Selection two subtalents - marksman + for the emperor?

Either way, there’s too much filler.

Ability subtalents example:
Ability = Voice of command
Subtalents = Duty and Honor + Only in Death Does Duty End

Maybe additional talents based on class-specific penances accomplished?

Definitely dont think that is a good idea, if they do give more it just needs to be given out. Locking crap behind really poorly thought out penances is a bad idea. You already know their track record for penance ideas. If the cosmetic ones are as ridiculous as they are, to unlock something as strong as more talent points?
You could already imagine it would be crap like “Push 500 pox bursters while your health is at 90% corruption, with no ammo left in your ranged weapon while being the last one alive on the team in the finale of the mission. Reward - 1 talent point” Just horrid

The RPG elements in Tide games support the gameplay not the other way around. Making it possible to grind your way to making Auric easy is a great way to ruin the game.
