So the shotgun has a alt ability to load a shell directly in the cannon.
It sounds different when fired but seems to do the same as a normal shell.
Is that just shotgun thing, the sound ? The shell fired being the same as others ?

someone else told me it gives the next shot a horizontal spread.
Actually shoot the alt fire into a horde compared to normal fire and you will immediately see the difference. It gives it a horizontal spread and pierces horde enemies much better, whereas I don’t think normal shots will go through even a single pox walker. Easy to test and see in action in the meat grinder.
