Vermintide 2 won't launch past anticheat windwo

Issue Description:
I recently got back into Vermnitide and I am having an issue where the game won’t get past the anticheat launcher. This happened a week ago when I first started playing again and after a fresh install everything worked fine. I tried playing this morning and I am hit with the same issue where I can’t play the game. After I click “play” (on official realms) the window in the picture below will open and then nothing else. It just sits there. Has anyone else had this issue and if so how do I fix it? (modded realms launch fine)

Hi @General_Kenobi,

EAC released a small update last week, and another yesterday - so I believe this may be related to that.

Some other players have had a similar issue, and found that by restarting Steam or Verifying Integrity of Game Files the issue resolved (though EAC still loaded slowly initially and needed a short wait) - I recommend trying this.

To Verify Integrity of Game Files:

  1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

Please let me know how you get on.
