Vermintide 2 Stagger thp changes and Damage stagger

Hello guys! It’s time for some change in Vermintide 2 Talents.
The level 5 and level 15 need changes for all careers.
Thp Talent should be intoduced at level 0 after finishing the tutorial and on level 5 new talents added.
Noticing some are lesser effective than another.

Healshare Talents are almost never a must pick to sustain on combat. Which limits the pick of the thp talents by 2. When you can have 3 usefull thp talents.

Mostly Crit thp and Kill thp are not as effective on some careers gaining thp.

Level 5:

Stagger thp->Cleave thp->Kill thp->Crit thp (Healshare but not as thp more a support kit)

Level 15:
Assasin->Smiter->Enchanced power->Mainstain->Bulwark. (Especially the last 3 need serious changes).

What´s wrong with Enhanced power? Its an excellent pick for weapons that want to reach stagger breakpoints or for someone who just wants to pump power into their ranged stuff.

Enchanced Power has strange value either it’s 7% or 7,5% and Smiter, Assasin is much better picks above. Enhanced Power Increases DoT damage only by 0,25 which is slight.
Yeah mostly Enhanced power is used for ranged breakpoints and decent melee dps.

Enhanced Power should stay, I do like it’s existence, and more importantly it’s 1000% more approachable for new players than whatever the **** the other stagger talents are (put yourself in the shoes of a newcomer)

Agree. But they should absolutely never be as effective as the others as these talents are largely given to squishier careers…but they could still use a boost

Kill THP -grant partial THP based on melee damage contribution

Crit THP -…I don’t know, give 1-2 more?

Smiter only ever works on 1 target at a time, so if you are hitting say 9 more (exaggeration) then thats 9 outa 10 hits getting no benefits. Meanwhile assasssin only actually works if headshotting or critting meaning that it often doesnt yield good value if swinging wildly into a horde. Not unless playing Witchhunter anyway.

Neither of these talents actually improve your stagger either.

So in conclusion, i do think EP has a solid niche, sure not as high peak performance in melee but its easier to use, its the only one that improves stagger and it has at least some significant ranged BPS up to cata.

For one, Elf longbow with EP and…some amount of infantry/chaos lets you pierce through marauders, effectively doubling the potential damage per shot when dealing with em.
