Hans has said on Reddit that it’s a bug.
Well there’s the good old bandaid fix. They can nerf the beastmen and when the bugs are fixed they can go by finetuning them.
Otherwise they are risking a lot of ragequitting.
This is a bad move development wise because you’ll mostly stop having posts that point something being strange with beastmens (making it appearing solved when it’s not) and you introduce already obsolete code that could cause others issues. But apart from this, why not.
I think that the bugs are quite clear: silent spawns, instant spawns, spawns too near, etc.
ATM playing against them is not fun because they also are fast, too many (they are more than skavens) and they are strong. They are too good to be the Marties Stu of the game.
Except the instant spawn and silent spawn issues kinda cover all factions. The “very resistant to stagger” could also be an issue. Same for attack speed of archers, etc…
Yes, in fact the bugs are general, but they are more evident for the beastmen because they are so OP to amplify the problem.

On behalf of all fellow men of versatility, a versatile thanks to you and yours.
The most versatile weapon ever invented!
all i have to say is back in v1, there were also sound bugs. only 1 i remember was the handgun doesnt play sound when u fire it. fatshark release several patches to fix it over maybe a month or more. in the end (in a stream) they said they found out that the problem was their inhouse patching system didnt work (LOL). their testing machine with the proper fix was working, but they couldn’t patch it onto the live version. after they fixed that the patch worked. maybe fatshark is having similar issues …
This update is great keep up the great work devs best game iv played welldone guys
Either you got a button the rest of us didn’t get that says “Jank On/Off” and have toggled it or you’re a fatshark employee in disguise.
Heaven forbid someone has fun, Ark! better tell them they’re wrong.
Btw., Hedge, i guess this is just a very minor one, but still; i call it my duty and honor to point out:
Well, vermintide isn’t a good source of fun these days.
If I wanted to encounter so many bugs, I play DRG. At least those bugs have teeth.
I didn’t enjoy DRG so you must be wrong.
/s
DRG is alright, but it wouldn’t make the point I was going for without a white lie.
Would it be possible to make this optional?
Like a setting in the options if one wants this or not?
