It crashes on launch. I do get a Windows pop-up for Easy Anti-Cheat stuff, I’ve added the screenshot to this post!
Sorry if this is already posted in your solutions website, but I couldn’t find anything that matches the exact warning. I’m also not very tech savvy, so dumbing it down for me would be nice

At D:\a\d\vt2-stingray\vt2\release\release_hon_2025_05_12_event_level\runtime\application\rendering\render_interface.cpp:1726 in function stingray::RenderInterface::apply_user_settings
for additional info that may help, the launch screen shows up, but after pressing start, it goes black screen and nothing else but crash.
We’ve tried validating the files, checked and followed through with Nvidia control panel and adding the game into the 3D setting thing as per another forum. Just kinda stuck right now
Edit 1: also, we did some digging, it turns out there isn’t even an EAC Certificates directory to begin with, we tried to Navigate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\EasyAntiCheat and it doesn’t even show up.
edit 2: We did some more digging, and it seems that their game doesn’t even show up when we do “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2” while it does for me
edit 3: We’ve went through the whole process of uninstalling and installing EasyAntiCheatEOS as per Fat Shark forums. When we verfied the files on Steam’s end, there were “3 files that failed to validate will be reacquired” through the process we’ve noticed that Vermintide 2 is not under Steamapps folder as per edit 2, and it added after the verified file added the folder to the Steamapps folder.
My tech friend ended up fixing it in the craziest ways using Anydesk, so anyone who came across the forum, sorry, no help here if you have the same issue. All i know was that Anti Cheat would try to reinstall after launch and the file was corrupted or something, and we were stuck in anti cheat file purgatory, and he did something about that…
