Several months ago, I logged in to Darktide on PC and played prior to the Vanguard deadline because I wanted the Vangurd bundle. I never received it, and support said they couldn’t or wouldn’t give it to me after the fact. I’ve seen similar cases and others have expressed interest in the Moebian 21st uniforms.
A DLC similar to the Imperial Edition including it or something similar would be sensible and some easy content/revenue since we’re not getting much of anything at the moment.
Not wanting to fuel the 14k-Aquillas-for-XBox-discussions here, but I need to say, that these cosmetics have been an excusing-gift for those PC-Imperial-Edition-Pre-Orderers that have not got anything close to 14k Aquillas (I do not want to state anything of the sort that it was sufficiant or not, that’s been discussed in other places enough)
Giving them away, even for money, would make this excuse somewhat invalid.
The heat is discussions would rise and tbh justified in my opinion, as it was meant to be special and compensating.
Great points, the only reason it’s justified in my mind is that the Aquilas were not exclusive to the console players - PC players could still get them if they paid. Making it the same for the VG bundle does not seem unfair, but I could be way off base.
The Aquilas were unique to console players. Steam players (the vast majority of the PC playerbase) never had the chance to even pay for the upgrade. On Steam you either had the option to buy the base game and get nothing or buy the Imperial Edition and get 2500 aquilas (not enough to buy one set of cosmetic now), there has never been any opportunity to get 9k-14k aquilas on Steam
