Must be nice losing that tag on a dog or trapper while you are smacking away at that mauler.
Do with your tags as you will but the only thing i really want is that 1 second delay before you can tag again from vermintide 2, someone tagging 10 enemies in span of 0,5 seconds is actively breaking my ears.
There is nothing particularly nasty about a rager I am fighting in melee or the reaper I am shooting from far away.
Pinging important targets is situational and you are basically removing your ability to use ping situationaly if you bind it to LMB.
Real example:
You are going for a small group of enemies in melee - maybe a bomber or a small group with a rager or two or something like that. You see a mutant charge down some stairs and you want to ping it so that your team that is behind the wall can see it coming, but you canât because as soon as you ping it, you will switch the highlight to that rager you are fighting in melee because you can only highlight one target.
This is a very real example and I can give you a hundred more.
You are literally preventing yourself from using pings smartly and just assume that whatever I am currently fighting IS the priority target that needs highlighting.
Not even going to mention that you have to switch to melee every time you ping a deamonhost unless you want to wake it or situations where you are not even fighting specials, but you accidentally ping some idle special/elite behind those pox walkers you are fighting instead of pinging another, priority threat.
Making things easier to kill is an intelligent play as far as Iâm concerned. I trust my teammates to make their own decisions on whether to look or not.
Of course thereâs situations where timing is critical, but in my experience that half second or so rarely makes much of a difference. For example, even if I ping a sniper at my earliest chance, itâll still get a shot off before anyone else reacts to it. Itâs almost always dead before that.
After like post # 3 this thread has nothing to do with the subject title. lol
Please⊠CraftingâŠ
It makes the game getting bad reviews. Every guy that says the game is not finished take this as an example.
Also, I think that we really need itâŠ
it will take them month cause fatshark being arrogant to just implement what should have been in launch, and it will take additional monthâs to change their abyssimal arrogant player hating design decisions out of the mission itself like crafting, shop system etc.
only way to force the shark to do something is stop playing and paying, drop in see the patch if its fixed what you want to be fixed or implemented play again else just stop immediately to play further and log off.
and to make them uber mad dont ever check their cosmetic store.
and if they announce a new game ever again just wait for the sale version including dlc, before touching it.
thatâs the industry today:
The game was released on the 30 November 2022. After few patches/hotfixes, I would imagine most of the dev team likely took well deserved holidays. You know after all the dev crunch time. Itâs 6th of Jan, theyâve barely come back to work.
I know it might be surprising for those of you who never worked a day in your life, due to your age, but people with jobs have lives outside catering to your gaming needs.
Heh, classic fatshark move: Do nothing, never communicate and lower the bar so much, that people literally appreciate ANYTHING.
Nah, I just donât feel quite as strongly about many of the other issues as some people do.
As long as I can actually play missions, the only thing about the rest of the issues that really concerns me in the short term is that theyâre making other people quit. Dogs are currently the closest thing to being legitimately âgame breakingâ IMO, outside of core stuff like crashing (which is way better than it was).
When will we get global conditions that arenât just dogs? Surely itâs not that hard to tweak, the cash shops manages to rotate consistently.
Meanwhile in Feedback: We got a response from a CM, just happens to be about MTX cosmetics though.
There is this little thing called Christmas thatâs been going around.
The game should never have released in this state, but the devs should have time off with their families now.
Yeah this is whatâs killing me the most. A good 60% of the only heresy/damnation lobbies are who let the dogs out. Even removing that would be a decent update in itself.
They deserve the shitestorm for releasing a clearly still early access as a finished title. idc about holidays or their families. if they feel butthurt about the lack of compassion they should have delayed launch.
Frankly, I am done with the lvling of my zealot and was starting the grind to find / upgrade good knife / gun⊠then I was hit by the mediocrity of current craft and the lack of end game. You grind for the sake of grind because you canât craft your stuff like you want.
So I will probably stop with zealot and start my third character⊠maybe vet
TLDR : if any, make next upgrade about crafting and end game.
Would you like to speak to the manager?
yes⊠i would⊠in the octagon, no holds barred. KEEP IT HARDCORE!
I named my zealot « Karen ». I thought it fit pretty well
The lack of updates are perfectly understandable and acceptable for me. The holiday period is when the technical staff are taking a (probably much needed) break after many months of dev leading up to launch.
Additionally, no company is likely to do ANY updates other than critical bug fixes (and nothing I read about meets my bar for that definition) during the short-staff holiday period. Change freezes are common this time of year.
Now that this period has ended, the devs and product managers have weeks of work to comb through all the feedback and issues and logs to determine what the next unplanned steps should be. I would not be surprised to see minor updates in Jan for planned or otherwise urgent needs, but I donât expect a major change before Feb. This is my expert opinion, not as a game player, but as someone in the software/web-service industry. I suspect most people demanding action are not experts and would be quite salty if some non-expert in their field came barging in demanding things they know nothing about.
That just emphasis how bad of an idea it was to release around now and not to delay to next year.
