Hey CommanderJ, I’m gonna send you a DM to chat about it!
No worries, going in and out of the mastery menu a few times seems to have fixed it.
OK, sick. That’s what I was going to say. There is a known issue where the first time it’s opened, it’s a bit borked. I think it’s just the massive transfer of data. After doing it a couple times, it gets going.
It is listed under the known issues and it’s visual more than anything. Glad to hear it’s working.
When sacrificing weapons for upgrading, you can sacrifice both ranged and melee weapons; it seems I missed this point, but that’s okay.
I have all 1214 blessings yet less than half of my weapons are at the max 20. i have verified the files twice no change.
Do I have to wait a period of time to happen?
make sure to claim the blessings in “masteries” tab and then in “blessing menu” you have to click to redeem all the blessings, if that’s what i understood about your problem
you may have certain blessing points already, which need to be spent on the current blessings you had to unlock them
Not sure if your replying to me, but my issue is that I should have max points in ALL weapons. There isnt a “redeeming” points issue, just that what I have available does not match why I am “owed”, which is basically max points on ALL weapons since I have all 1214 blessings.
max points in mastery exp? max power?
even if you had all blessings unlocked, mastery it’s not fully maxed it seems, because you have to redeem all blessings you had before
for example i kinda had all blessings of crucis but i couldn’t change blessings to hadron, i had like 0 blessings, but then once i claimed them in the blessing menu, they are all unlocked
maybe then it’s a different problem
Welcome to the new GrindTide
Apparently new blessings count towards the pool of XP needed, so even if you 100%'d all blessings you’ll still need to grind up to account for the new blessings. Good times right?
Those of us that didn’t get all the blessings, and based on the distribution of what tiers we had, got even more royally screwed.
Tier 1/2 basically contribute very little to what I can tell. And if you have both tier 3 and 4 versions of a blessing, it doesn’t count as much as having a tier 3 on one blessing and tier 4 on another. It’s capped.
So basically if you spent your game time to date trying to collect tier 3 and eventually 4 of “just the good blessings” on a weapon, you’re especially screwed as you won’t even get enough mastery to be able to reapply the blessings you previously had. Literally reverse progression.
tbf with the new sacrifice system, mastery fully a weapon takes not much if you grinded so many weapons before, and you can even buy grey ones just to sacrifice them
I dont have all blessings like you, but i was missing around 10 blessing total across all characters.
Spend a lot of time and dockets buying lvl 1/2 blessings from shop.
I got all level 4 blessings on all weapons.
After log in i can see only about 20% weapons with 20 mastery.
So my question is: Is transfer still going on or im getting bamboozled?
You’re getting bamboozled.
I agree with Mezmorki’s assessment and here’s why:
- In the old system not all weapons had the same amount of blessings.
- In the new systems all have the same amount
- Sometimes the difference in number of blessings can be quite marked
- Since you cannot earn prior to this update blessings that didnt exist for your weapon, they must NOW be earned.
Simply put the greater the difference between the amount of blessings prior to this update and after this update the LOWER your starting power until the current way things work will be.
No biggie, I preempted hording massive amount of resources and money, so I’ll knock them to max in a few hours.
This is on poing a assume: Since you cannot earn prior to this update blessings that didnt exist for your weapon, they must NOW be earned.
Yea not a big problem for me too, was just curious.
My god…
The system permits you to get any weapon you want… the mastery of one weapon, especially when you are at 12-15 mastery level, is fast…
So, the question is more about: do you still play the game or are planning to play it?
if the answer is yes, then you will obviously get all weapon mastery unlocked soon enough.
As an example, in 2 succeeded missions I have get to level 19 is mastery for tactical axe. If I remember well, I was at 15 before. But anyways, with the sacrifice weapon option, the fact we can change the mark of a weapon, the lock removal… you don’t need all weapons we had. I have already thrown lot of them to get the max mastery for duelling sword (I was low on it as I never play the psyker).
I will say it, the new system is great.
The new map seems great but too hard.
The power increase is, in my opinion, a little too much.
But, for one time, maybe we could be happy for this step in the right direction, I mean here the new weaponry system?
A question has arisen; perhaps it has already been written about, but let’s take a template with stats for potential improvement, and start upgrading. The initial potential for accuracy is 72, and mobility is 67. After full upgrades, I ended up with 73% accuracy and 68% mobility. I tried it on different items, and it also happened that the final stats did not match the claimed potential after the upgrade. In this specific case, the difference is negligible and has no impact, but there have been instances where the final parameter fell short of the claimed value by 10% or more. Therefore, I don’t quite understand what to rely on when upgrading weapons. At the moment of upgrading a weapon, the percentage of improvement can vary at each step; sometimes it’s 1%, sometimes it’s 2%.

Not gonna lie… this update’s got some kinks to iron out, but it’s got me back to playing. I’m actually enjoying spending time with the game again and progressing through mastery ranks with weapons.
Also: duelling sword on Zealot is just ace, I have no qualms dropping my knife for it.
Duelling sword is… a dream on the zealot.
I did not even try shred + riposte, but this is just a dream this weapon. I won’t give up dagger, cause dagger is great also.
The weird build I have just started to test, is one that is using tactical axe with agile blessing, a +3 stamina curios, lot of sprint efficiency bonus and swift certainly. This is really great, must practice it, but this is great. A fast gameplay like I love… I have even been able to run in middle of gunners shooting at me, did not receive any damage and they have all died. Really satisfying. (but yes, I have also died like a poor reject with this build)
Hey all, I couldn’t reply sooner because of the time difference.
I just wanted to say I’ve seen this thread and the other threads. Thank you for taking the time to share everything. I’ve taken down all your points here, and all the other comments I’ve seen, and I’m bringing them to the team now.
