Update on Maintenance for Unlocked and Loaded

Hey Everyone,

We put this message in the patch notes, but it’s been missed by some so we’re dedicating a post to it, as well.

As you might imagine, transferring over all the weapons and blessings in the game for our existing players – from the old system to our new system – is a huge task.

There are two important things to note.

First, we have disabled certain Mastery and Shrine of the Omnissiah features, as well as the Armory Exchange and Melk’s Requisitorium while the update is continuing to roll out.

This means if you’re checking things right now, you will not see any progress or mastery. However, it does not mean you lost it.

While this is happening, we’ve received reports that some players have not been granted the Mastery or Blessings they’re owed. It is likely due to logging in after the above maintenance had started. We’ll let players know when they can log in and check their Mastery progression.

Second, some players are experiencing crashes. If players are running the game with FSR 3.1 Frame Generation enabled, and they are tabbing between the exclusive full screen and windows, they may crash. Further, if players run FSR 3.1 Frame Generation, but without any upscaling enabled (such as FSR 3.1, DLSS or XESS), they will crash upon entering the Mourningstar.

The current workaround is to:

  1. Use borderless fullscreen;
  2. If they’re running the game with FSR 3.1 Frame Generation: Enable one of the Upscaling alternatives (FSR 3.1, DLSS or XESS).

Alternatively:

  1. Disable FSR 3.1 Frame Generation

^ We are working on a fix for this to be included in a hot fix.

Thank you for your patience today as we work to get everyone up and running again soon.

Any ETA for the transfer ?

Doesn’t have to be super accurate

It should be today, that’s the most I can clarify right now.

If there is any change in that, I’ll let y’all know ASAP.

granted, the usual “dont play on patch day” is still in effect as wisdom of old  , the fast communication is the reason

knowing why something is borked for the time be is far less frustrating, not gonna lie, was scratching my had spending mastery points into the void to see em vanish

There does seem to be an issue with the FPS cap. I’ve always set mine to 60 FPS, but the game’s now running on 120 FPS anyway for some reason and it’s really straining my PC. I don’t know if you and/or the dev team are aware of this issue yet

On Series X the game freezes completely for about 3-5 seconds then you desync and thrown out of the match. Freezes happen both in a match and in Mourningstar.

Also I see many weapons showing lower potential than 380. For example Critical chance 21/30% instead of something/60% (at least 60)

Should we expect the Mark to change in the inventory list?
Here for example, my old Columnus V has defaulted to a Vraks V (is that the old Graia?).

I can try to change it to a Columnus, but it does nothing:

Marks are unlocked via Mastery Leveling. Which is right now disabled. I think you won’t be able to swap marks until Mastery fix.

You’re not going to get any control over the stat bars unfortunately, except being able to max them to their predetermined max levels using mastery.

You won’t be able to single out a stat to boost above the other ones

This might be tied to FSR frame generation, try disabling it for now.

Yeah FSR had been turned on for mine despite me having an Nvidia card like a normal human being :joy:

My framerate has been smoother since disabling it and just keeping the Nvidia related stuff on.

They are addressing it and you will be able to get it back pal :+1:

Get what back?

I turned off the FSR which had been turned on by default (but it shouldn’t as I have an Nvidia and it’s an AMD feature).

Works nice and smooth since turning it off.

No, AMD doesn’t tie their technologies to their GPUs. Years ago Nvidia went with Cuda instead of OpenCL just to sell you their hardware. There are of course benefits of this approach but talking specifically about FSR - it doesn’t matter what GPU you will be using.

So it’s completely safe to use AMD options in-game if it’s more beneficial than Nvidia options. For example Nvidia frame gen not only tied to their hardware but also to a specific fresh hardware. In that case you can use AMD frame gen. And still use DLSS for picture quality upscale. But that of course depends on a specific implementation of specific game.

What did bro say? :sob:

I didn’t even say anything offensive unless calling the system stupid is an offense lololololol I made note that my stats on my weapons got shifted around and that I just want control over my bars

There is a known issue in the patch notes where the potential stats do not add up to 380. This is visual only and you’ll be able to empower the weapon to it’s max.

As for XBOX, we are investigating some things and a hotfix should come out tomorrow. In the meantime, if you’d consider submitting a report on the Technical Issues discussion thread, it would really help.

He said his weapon stats were somehow altered and voiced his frustration with the system in general.
