Unplayable level of network probelm after update

Issue Description:

Right after the patch, I can’t pass character select screen without several failed attempt which gave me error 4008 or 9999, enemies were completely bugged out, I can’t finish a single match without 4008.

I thought maybe there was a spike of player interaction, so I put away the game for several hours, now it’s more stable but enemies still stop functioning completely if there’s more than 2 dozens of them

Attempted Solutions:

I have always been using windows defender that come with win10, nothing have changed
1.tried change steam download region which didn’t help
2.tried verifying game file because I have no idea what to do, didn’t help
3.tried delete user_settings.config then let the game generate a new one, didn’t help

  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs
  4. Locate your most recent console log
  5. Upload here

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Locate the darktide_launcher.log in this directory
  5. Upload here

Did the match making rules changed? I think I might be connected to Chinese Server because I had been matched with Chinese players exclusively.

The game is completely unplayable now, I either can’t join due to 4008 or joined and play for a bit then 4008.

I and my friends are having the same problem half of the time. It’s ether this lagfest or it’s working OK. We had this problems in January, before first update, then everything was fine until last update

Same issues here, getting Error 2001 and Error 9999 constantly. Honestly can’t remember the last time I was able to successfully join a run on the first try .

same, errors 2001 and 9999 every game after about 30s of gameplay with no issues. Also, severely impacted upload speed even after the game has closed. Requires a complete reboot of the computer to fix speed issues.

The game is now affecting DL speeds after it is fully closed until restart. I cant even log onto the Mourningstar without multiple tries. getting into a game results in code 9999 after 10 - 15 sec. This has only started happening in the past 24hrs. Iven verified files, uninstalled/reinstalled… Any fixes? Any word from FS??
