People on the official forums for Darktide are already talking about an upcoming game which is direct competition to it. This is the reality how Fatshark treats this playerbase and the game.
This situation should have rang alarm bells and made them come out with at least a (non-)apology letter from their slimy CEO like they did after release about the disastrous state of the game. Instead Fatshark is silent…
The leadership of this company are hell bent on killing this game that is for sure. I can’t understand why WH40k games are always cursed somehow. Why do we deserve this?!

In all honesty, if it wasn’t for, you know, the vet cosmetic being fully rigged and available in-game, I would have filed this under ‘game company uses inaccurate promo picture to do promo things, news at 11’. It would’ve been equivalent to Bethesda advertising a Fallout game with displates featuring the concept art.
But the cosmetic is in the game, is fully rigged, and all it needs is to be handed out to the players.

I pre-ordered Helldivers 2 for myself and my roommate and friend. So, 3 Copies in total, the fact that Fat shark labeled this game as live service is a ****ing joke I already un-installed this game because I just got tired of the ****ing garbage RNG, lack of communication to the players on what next and the increase in garbage cosmetics (800 to 2900) hit the nail. They better wake up and smell the roses soon or they will continue to bleed the player base.

helldivers 2 looks SO good. i’m not sure if it’s gonna just be run-and-gun arcadey style, or if you can play with stealth or tactics, but either way, it’s looking like it’s gonna be a lot of fun. i do hope it’s somewhat tactical, though lol

Getting them in mission no matter the rate
Already makes it 1000x better than darktide’s method.

Armour is cosmetic
Helmets and capes all have the same stats
Body armour is classed into light medium heavy which all armours within a category have the same stats
With helldivers 2
Starship troopers extermination getting more and more content and closer to completion
Space marine 2 with co-op campaign and modes
Darktide will be at major risk of becoming like pd3 if fatshark continue like they are.
