Unable to open chat window to type if disconnected then reconnected.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log into a mission
  2. get disconnected for a myriad of reasons
  3. Reconnect
  4. Attempt to hit “Enter” to type to the group to apologize or say whatever and we simply do not get a chat box.

Thank you for your report! Could you please provide the console logs for a session where this happened, as well as your launcher log file?

These may be found by doing the following:
Upload Console Log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs
  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names
  5. Upload here

Upload darktide_launcher.log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Locate the darktide_launcher.log in this directory
  5. Upload here
