Howdy, I’m just starting today having an extremely unique issue ive never had before, I am unable to join ANYONE in darktide, but am still able to play in public lobbies. Today, i tried to join some friends (All playing on PC), and am unable to join, or invite them to my group. You can see the invites through steam, but when trying to accept or join, nothing happens. Looking at the mourningstar lobby as well, and friends list in game, no one’s portraits are being shown, nor region they’re from, even friends on those lists that are online. As i said this is a very recent problem, and cannot for the life of me figure out why this is happening, ive tried verifying my game files, trimming my friends list, running the game and steam in admin, and nothing seems to work. If anyone can help, it’d be GREATLY appreciated!
Hm, this is rather unusual. Could you please provide a console log from a session that you try to join up with other players and experience this issue? It would be helpful to take a look under the hood at what’s going on.
Made an account to respond to this. My friends and I are having the exact same issue. We’ve tried joining through steam, the in-game social menu and the party finder. There is no error code but sometimes it’ll say that the invite was declined despite the invitee not recieving anything. If we all repeatedly try and join each other we’ll occasionally get lucky and someone will join someone else, but 1 or 2 of us end up missing out. Im at work away from my PC at the moment but I’ll see if i can get a console log when I get home.
@Asarin@Asaltzpyre hey both! Some good news. I queried this internally, and it turns out that this bug has been on our radar already and a fix has gone live with the recent hotfix 1.5.10. Hopefully this will resolve these issues! Please let me know
