Someone trolled my hosted havoc match. We kicked him and he kept rejoining.
If someone is kicked they should not be allowed to rejoin the havoc match.
And actually how do you even rejoin a havoc match that’s in progress??

Have you tried blocking them on steam?
But yes, if they were vote-kicked, they shouldn’t be able to just rejoin.
What’s the point of kicking if they can just rejoin? That’s ridiculous.
I’ve since blocked them on DT so will no longer share the same mourningstar in future.

It’s also possible to rejoin a lobby after being kicked through the quick play option. Based on personal experience.

Correct me if I’m wrong, this never did anything in this game, steam is not in the mix for blocking and matchmaking.
Might be using something like a reconnect mod to get back into the “last game”.
This is one of those stupid things that should have been there since day 1: you get kicked from a session you can’t rejoin that session.

More like a design stage oversight.

You can go into the DT social menu and go into the Previous Missions tab and find the same players that kicked you and rejoin that way. I’ve used it when connection errors have booted me from both the mission and the party in the past few weeks.
That is most likely how he’s done it.

Through the social menu “join strike team”. You can also invite people to your in progress havoc mission if a spot becomes vacant.

Yeah, same, you just need to rejoin fast enough, before somebody else.
It’s usually done through Darktide’s Social tab

I’m just very certain that it worked like that on VT2. Could be wrong there too but oh well

No youre right, but the fact that it can happen in all other lobbies except Havoc is wild. Theres gotta be some kind of correlation between that and being able to troll in Havoc the way op describes.
