A way to transfer some items from a character to another would be excellent, I think. Actually, i found a weapon on my priest which would be better used in soldier hands.
So, it would be great to transfer shared gear, weapons that classes have in common. Maybe a kind of family’s inventory for all chrs and all shared stuff.
It would be nice. My psyker has been developing a really good collection of guns that puts my veteran to shame.
More fundamentally than that, there is no defensible gameplay reason for gear that is shared between multiple classes (such as all your curios, generic melee weapons such as the axes etc) to not be shared between your inventories between those classes.
The only (indefensible) reason for doing is that this would however also expose how stupid and terrible the shop is, since people would now be encouraged to make 4 more veterans to get more veteran weapons.
The root issue of non-shared items is the terrible shop design.
