Top 2 or 3 Weapons per career

//KERILLAN

First, its carreer dependent imo.

The weapons I use in my builds:
WS: Glaive/SnD* Hagbane
HM: Spear/Glaive Longbow
Shad: SnD/Spear Hag/Crossbow*

AAND to the sidenotes.

  • As long as DnD (and SnD3rd srtike) has these atrocius amount of ghost swings, i wont really bother using them.

  • SnD is bearable since its good for cc AND armor at the same time (second charged stab) while keeping the high mobility and speed all Keri carreers need.

  • Spear is overall a really good weapon, personal favourite, with diverse and well designed moveset. Good speed on charged attacks, good block area. The stagger on armored enemies with the charged swing is good, really good on non armored. For armor piercing you really need to get those charged stab headshots in, if you cant, dont bother using spear, go for something faceroll weapon instead(its damage is still mediocre tho, not sure if you can stack enough power vs to 2hit a sv). Still DONT take spear tho if YOU want an ARP weapon.

  • Hagbane- This is just good for everything. Its like the spear of ranged weapons. Everyone who cant use it cryes that its sh.t while its easily in the top 5 weapons in the game on my list. Pros: CC Damage AOE-(Having trouble hitting that b.tch gutter runner with anything thats not a flamethrower? Use a Grenade launcher(hagbane) PROBLEM SOLVED //-Daily advice by Abyss) Cons: low ammo count-thats why I only run it on WS and Shad that can regain ammo besides regular pickups.

  • Crossbow- At fist I liked it, but it really became meh. The damage is simply bad, you can consider your ammo being 10-15 damagewise compared to saltz xbows for example. 3 bodyshots are not enough to kill a SVā€¦ The projectile trajectory falls way too fast, making it unreliable at longer ranges. Ammo is simply low for a high RoF low damage weapon. Relying only on plus ammo on crits makes it really unsafe considering the ammo management with the RNG involved in the process. Nowadays I rarely use it on a shadowhunter build (specialised Sv patrol/horde killer)

These being said, i played all her weapons, had fun with others than the mentioned ones too, but this is my top list considering (my) efficiency. Party weapon compositions can also change these setups so bear that in mind.

Same as spear, but bit of dodge dancing cause of lower reach radius.
Basically push out of range, stab in range for slave rats, so they donā€™t fly away for over 9000 feet from you, default push stab Vs chaos hordes. +30% chaos infantry usable, so you can regain stamina on stab kills and stagger more targets with hits

Or +30-60 push angle for better stagger

If needed, ā€œeternal danceā€, 2 crits fully recharge your ultimate with resourceful combatant

I tried different set of stats so now itā€™s
Sword 5 crit 30 block cost
Necklace 20 HP 30 push/block angle. Charm +10chaos +10 infantry.
Trinket 5 crit 33 curse res

5 lvl stamina or ammo depends on bow
10 lvl power for attack speed
15 lvl stamina regain 50% faster
25 invisible for special killing

Welcome to the spread sheet topic. Dagger attack can hit and stagger max of 2 targets for skaven slaves and fanatics (champion +). All tougher units - 1 target. So simply you canā€™t handle hordes with daggers staying at one place. For SnD you have to use only first and second strikes for hordes then block cancel it. Best of SnD that if you can perform second heavy strike constantly via kiting or dodging you simply donā€™t longer need daggers themselves. Even for shade with conc potion.

Even if you wonā€™t believe me: 2h sword for Huntsman Kruber. Absolute beast.

How does it synergize with Huntsman?

I use it on my handgun build and it is an absolute horde-murdering machine with attack speed, crit chance and swift slaying. Horde comes, you land one head shot, get your added crit-chance and the slaying-traing goes. If you can handle armoured elites with your ranged weapon, the 2h sword becomes an absolutely viable choice. It still needs a tad bit more range simply because it seems counter-intuitive missing so many hits that should connect, the swinging-arc and the immense damage on headshots makes running NB on him very smooth. You get well more than above average horde clear and the sword not only staggers, it also cleabes through anything and it kills most mobs in one strike.

First, ghost swings and bad crowd control capabilities are different things. 2 please tell me how to use these weapons, i have yet to understand DnD and SnD after 300+ hoursā€¦

Im well aware of the stagger, cleave and damage values, movesets, and my comment had absolutely no relation to these when i mentioned these 2 weapons.

well, personally I hadnā€™t noticed any ghost swings so far. I may look into it but closer then
