bunch of chicken, as i said before.
i lost a game recently in such an avoidable way, it should be a lesson for everyone involved:
i’m in a lobby with a low-level psyker on ps5 using smite. thanks, i leave. join another game and there he joins again after the game started already. well, the others seemed ok, so i guessed we’ll carry him through the map throwing lightning just like vader tossed palpatine down the shaft. the problem was just that every time he went down, he started whining into his mic, and the other 2 guys felt obliged to save him , and that’s what ended the run.
in the room below, of course he chose the path on the other side the rest was on. went down trying to smite green ragers. i pinged the medicae room repeatedly so we could continue with 3 people and pick him up a bit later, but the others ignored me, went one by one to the other side and got overwhelmed. so i was up against 2 spawns alone, which were doable if one didn’t throw me so unlucky that i ended up hanging from a ledge. and all because that one guy yapping into his mic and people with good intentions.
