I’m looking for tips in playing during vs. How’s your favorite and why?
Serious posts only, please - I’m aware there’s some hate for the new mode but I’m having a blast.

Try and stick with your team, listen for rat cues, if things go south and you think you’re going to wipe you can always try to dash for points, but know this is a Hail Mary.
If you find yourself at a drop, try to get everyone to drop at the same time, a packmaster or assassin WILL try to grab the last player.
Don’t get frustrated with a bad match, it happens to everyone even 3000+ hour cata players. Getting frustrated just leads to more bad matches.
Try to get used to dodging to the side and attacking at the same time in hordes, once you can handle hordes without risk you’re going to be in much better shape to snipe specials and fight at the same time. And killing specials is critical to success.
Don’t be afraid to leave a player that fell behind and got grabbed. Yeah it sucks, it’s going to hurt the rest of the match but getting stuck in a loop of going back for a player could end the run right then and there. No it’s not always because they were a bad player either, game is chaotic and the enemy will be watching for even any mistake no matter how innocent. So don’t fault them if it happens goal is points don’t get side tracked blaming players.
Move as fast as the group will let you. Don’t be the one to fall behind if you can help it, or run so far ahead you’ll get caught for sure (unless it’s a final gambit for points in a run that’s already over).

I’m not a big PvP guy, but i personally like having a “scout” class like handmaiden / BW… that check and bait enemies before the team commit to an area. It often makes gas uses their bombs on me instead of touching all the team and as i have invi / dash its not a big deal to go back to my mates.

Biggest thing as Heroes is staying together as much as possible, but dont hesistate to ditch that one airhead that just lingers really far behind and gets caught.
Careers that are good at dealing with specials are typically preferred, or ones that can offset high pressure. Waystalker and Handmaiden respectively sort of. Or Bounty Hunter and Warrior Priest/Foot Knight/Merc/BW.
Certain Loadouts are better in Versus than they´d be in Adventure mode, shields for instance makes life really hard for gunners while stuff that help ammo sustain is really good for shooters. Or ranged weapons that can stagger and interrupt Skaven specials even if they dont instantly kill like Javelins. Bloodshot javelin is a Waystalker build i have not seen anyone else use except myself and its incredibly good. Oneshots several targets like gas/assassins and staggers anything else. Or oneshots them too anytime you got bloodshot active.
Try to slowly learn and be aware of “dangerous spots” where Skaven can abuse ledges or even walls&falls to quickly grab/push someone to death. Or just deal a lot of damage. Then avoid&use them yourself.
