I believe the combat blade is fine as it is. You need to build around it to make it effective, which seems to be the intention.
(Maybe the move speed should be changed but i dunno)

I feel like that would be… how did @alsozara put it? Throwing out the baby with the bathwater? The point of 1-Handed Weapons (and ESPECIALLY ones such as Combat Blades) is the ability to quickly engage and disengage enemies. Mobility is CRUCIAL to this point.

As for the hammer, it should have the same range as the combat blade (considering it’s a massive weapon), or perhaps even more.

Combat Blades’ Range is much too high, on the other hand. Combat Blades should have the same Range as Tac Axes in my opinion.

I will cite a Post from @Boz which shows just how insane the Combat Blades’ Range actually is. There is a video with it!

Do you think tac axe is op?

Might need a range nerf tbh, currently its attacks can occasionally come into contact with an enemy if you invade their personal space to a sufficient degree which is a bit OP if you ask me.
