You say the real problem plaguing the game is curios
another user sees this as a blatant distraction, a whataboutism because you don’t want people talking about DS4 re-balancing and making a slippery lope logical fallacy connection to this topic.
Most recently you yourself bring up the topic of DS4 and claim that nobody is talking about the neglected weak weapons. A few others (including myself) replied to this last point, which you brought up.
I’m not trying to dog-pile on you, this is just a quick breakdown give or take (prone to errors), since you asked.
Saying 4% CDR on curio is too strong is a hilarious attempt at bait. Like I’m struggling to think of a worse equivalence to draw there while Psykinetic Aura, IoD, and Tactical awareness are in the game.
Who would buy that as any kind of slippery slope? It’s like a primary school kid’s attempt at a “gotcha” come on.
Edit: Here’s a better one for you free of charge:
After they nerf DS they’ll come after Relic Blade and Force Greatsword then you won’t be laughing!
The gist of this thread was this, if suddenly you did not understand the SMALL sarcasm and attempt to ridicule the desire to see too strong things/abilities in everything and the general desire to nerf anything that somehow affects balance. If you are not able to see this, I’m sorry.
And I would also like to stop seeing thread after thread: I strongly ask you to weaken X.
And to see pressure on the sharks with the same enthusiasm on things that they clearly owe us, such as the refinement of amulets (and yes, I will continue to call them that, I like this version), and although I do not play for a veteran, it is funny for me to see the date on the calendar and realize that 1/2 of the term of some new weapon for this class has passed. What will be there, a BFG 9000 shooting MK4 with infinite ammo? I’m not saying that this is not raised, but if you compare the cries of NERF X, versus and where is the promised? Well, it’s all sad
Defend your positions without problems, weaken anything, but do not forget to demand with equal force what we were PROMISED.
In two and a half years I don’t think I’ve ever seen a thread complaining about Curios being too strong. Certainly, there have been mentions that some features are nigh-useless (XP bonus, Grimoire corruption resistance) or bugged…
Pardon me for being Captain Obvious here, but putting a weapon such as DS4 on the same level as Curios is absolutely a false equivalence. Noone is two-shotting Crushers specifically due to their Curios !
12% CDR for 3 slots is OP? Good to know. Meanwhile psyker’s aura + passive gives like 40%+ CDR to teammates, even more when those patrols start rolling in. But sure, that 12% is bonkers. /s
Stacking CDR is so 2023. There is room for everything on Curious to be effective should your playstyle have certain weaknesses. The stat increases are nice but for me, since dodging/avoiding/preempting damage is such an intrinsic (and fun!) part of DT I don’t take much, just a little bit of toughness as a buffer.
Its still effective to stack CDR, it alwayswill be, but if you play Havoc there are certain enemies you personally just wont want to get hit by. For me its muties. I can dodge them without looknig but I personally hate that one getting in, so I stack Mutie DR and take no dmg when they grab me unless I’m already low. Hence the extra toughness for a buffer.
Curious are really where you customize your playstyle to your liking, shoring up weakness. The amount of melees that complain abotu Gunenrs but dotn take 20-40+ DR is quite frankly incompetant.
With the item homogenization patch, curious are what little is left of flavour for your character. They are far from OP.
