Yea… that’s the whole point of this post.
I may be missing it, but in game mics work? At least when I use em.
I mute the in-game voice channel… first off the quality is garbage so it’s hard to understand anyone through that garbled mess in the first place, second: the only people I’ve ever heard on mic in-game are hot-mic’ers or racist trolls, so I’d rather just ignore it as I currently do.

yeah i have only discord, and in-game mic is off for exactly this reason, that for 1 guy who says useful things you get 10 clowns. and hearing that the coming ps5 crowd has mics on their controllers by default insures i keep it off
