The Social Hub takes away the homey feeling of the original Tide games

The new Social Hub idea just feels like a means to an end for me now, i feel like instead of being a Social Hub, in its current state i rather it just be a menu than a world space.

Why do i feel this way? i think its because its so open and there’s so many people, it feels like a space station from SWTOR like i’m only there to pickup quests, afk or go to the auction house/store, theres no exploration to it or homeyness just a means to an end and that’s really sad to me as the original tide games hub worlds felt like a home rather than a means to an end.

Love the game tho and i can’t wait to play it even more at launch!

Anti-social social hub… I too liked it better in the Vermintide games. There’s also a lot of empty space and useless corridors. I feel like my Zealot’s calfs are going to get cramped with all this pointless running up and down.

Well, all the functionality of a social hub isn’t there, or is buried in a menu instead of easy to access.

It’s pretty obvious what it’s there for, to show off cosmetics. Except that isn’t currently going to work right since we can’t inspect other players to find out what cosmetics they have on.

It feels like it’s just a test, paid for by us, for some future mmo project they’re working on.
