I went on damnation, but preatty sure the game thinks I started sedition or maybe malice difficulty, based on that I also got 275 plasteel.
Edit: the number of enemies also suggests that it is most likely sedition, maybe malice. Except at the end arena, because there was damnation-like enemy spawns.
Also will the new mission stay, or is it limited time too?
Edit 2: only asking, because it is the mission with the best athosphere, I think.
Well that was fun, I thought the game bugged out on me and was accidentally showing me some future mission feature when that “special assignment” suddenly appeared on my mission board!
I was also doing the 3rd phase of the “Flawless Execution” penance, I was at 14/15 successful consecutive missions without being downed!
So I had a choice, potentially fail that quite painful penance, or miss out on a mission/content that maybe I wasn’t supposed to access yet? Curiosity got the better of me and I had a lot of fun! Thankfully I stayed alive and didn’t get downed, thank god I picked Ogryn that game. That BFG mini-nuke grenade came in very very handy during that. I pretty much melted the bosses with my stubber build though. When they didn’t have that invincible shield moment at least.
I started the mission 6 times and only 1 worked as expected, this is not good

Fire your QA department, or hire one. Because either the one you should have is not doing their job, or you simply don’t have one.
This is unacceptable.
A lot of things about Darktide are unacceptable but this just hammers in that the suits who are trying to make this ‘live service’ are fundamentally incompatible with how your company operates.
