Oh wow.

Finally stopped recommending a perk that was so good you had to record the footage and rewatch it, to notice it even doing something. Love the salty text.

Never change fireant.

It was obvious to us while playing with it, but I guess not everyone can be that gifted and talented and handsome. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Don’t forget you would also have to stack toughness regen on 3 curio’s for it be “solid, if unimpressive”.

It’s called commitment to the bit, honey.

Seriously though, there was some dumb or outdated or misguided stuff in the guide for sure. We’ve consulted some smarter and better players than ourselves for this edition to better reflect what the high level meta is for Ogryn.

The three new Havoc builds in particular are a good example of this, but we’ve also revisited the perk and blessing recommendations for nearly every weapon with advice from superior Godgryns (no more Infested for the Karsolas, for example). Fireant also added a ton of fact blurbs on abilities and blessings about their stats and interactions that uses data generously shared from Kuli’s Steam guides.

I hope people will find it more useful and reliable than ever before!

And how you committed to those terrible and misguided choices indeed. I remember how either of you or fireant would refuse to even acknowledge people calling you out.

At least you had the clarity of mind to copy competent people’s content instead of coming up with your own this time, so there’s a modicum of use and truth buried in those 100+ pages of yapping.

Definitely an improvement. I can agree on that.

Dude just dropped in to start a fight over… agreeing with a change to the guide, but not liking the tone???

Emperorless behaviour.

If only we could all say this about our contributions to the community.

If you actually read it and try to understand why it was somehow conisdered worth taking maybe then you will look differently on this, but instead its look like you watch some yt buffon with overblown ego and take his word for granted.

No I play the game and test things in the psykanium and duo runs. I don’t need a guide that mostly just copies ingame information and stuff from existing, much shorter guides like kulis. The builds are also mostly copies from more competent players like jsat, combine, hamdolsun etc.

So no, I don’t consider 160 pages of yapping useful, when the same time reading can be spent playing and exploring ingame. The fact that the first version was littered with errors, wrong info and recommendations that were flat out noob traps doesn’t help. As I’ve said before I applaud them adding actually useful infos as mentioned above this time.

But some people enjoy being spoonfed and told what to do, just like you I reckon.

no one is asking you to do that. if you would like to know what other people like on their guns or what talents they like its nice to have the guide instead of asking every time.
also darktide does a horrible job of teaching people mechanics thats another plus.

So you know me that well to say that?
Ofc you dont, you simply ego triping here mate.
For youre information, I use guide as reference than copy it 1:1.
Next time try dont be so self centred and short sighted.
