From seeing the revealed shape of the new weapon from the last Twitch stream, I think there’s no way to this weapon would be useful enough. Unless its barrels are all points the front straightly, not angled/spread.

Maybe it is supposed to work like horizontal Blunderbuss (although the number of barrel seem extremely low)
Volley Guns, aka duck foot pistols were designed to help 1 person against a group of people.
So, using that logic, 1 man vs an army of rats might be useful. Who knows, it could be good or bad, but until its released we just dont know.

I´d say it just needs enough damage and penetration to be perfectly decent while keeping the actual number of bullets small to ensure its different from Bardin´s shotgun.
Depending on how it’s designed, the griffonfoot gun might actually be decent for clutching where you’re fighting either a horde or patrol.
Only way we’ll know is when Chaos Wastes launches.

I’m personally hoping each barrel functions as a mini shotgun, finally giving BH the aoe option he currently lacks, but that’s probably asking too much. If it’s just a triple pistol shot similar to volley bow then I feel like those two weapons are gonna be directly competing with each other which isn’t great.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see what they do with it.

The thing with Volley Cross Bow is that the quarrel fly parallel to each other, which give enough range to it so it is useful, but if each bullet is going it’s own way it will be a difficult weapon to use
If this is an analogue of a shotgun, then unfortunately, this weapon will find little use in my solo games. Since in the first place I have the task of killing specials at a great distance.
Well, at least a fun little toy for my Collection. Another would be to find a place in the inventory …
Does anyone know if it will be dual wield? Because a brace of pistols with mini blunderbuss shots sounds epic, and could be a nice addition to single target weapons like axe or billhook

I believe they are going live on Twitch and Steam. Let’s hope they show some gameplay with Bardin as well! Even tho I’m a Kruber boi, I am still hype for Bardin’s new career.
I said somewhere I was only planning on buying the Grail Knight (which I did) but depending on what the other careers offer, I might buy the others as well.
