The majority of specials are broken in some way for many patches now

First off i would like to say i have not changed anything on my pc in years except for w10/gpu updates and i also never change my audio setup (I even bought a brand new dac and headphones of the same model and set them up exactly the same way to confirm it was not those) I made one of these reports many years ago and all the problems i reported to do with specials got fixed at some point so hopefully the same thing happens now.

Hookrats spawning right next to players/bots around corners and are completely silent until they have already hooked you.
Hookrats getting stuck in random spots when running towards or away from players/bots and then they are only capable of turning on the spot (They can also get stuck when climbing/dropping too) Sometimes they hook players but the majority of the time they dont.

Gunner behaviour has completely changed (I assume its a bug but if its an intended change it needs reverting back to what it was originally) Why do they not slowly move towards the players/bots then start firing anymore? They now stand on a spot with a machine gun thats not ready to fire sometimes and they also try to wait for players/bots in completely random areas where players/bots would never go which makes no sense and to make it worse they almost never move from those dodgy spots.

Stormers still cast through many walls/floors in many different parts of the game and are silent when they teleport next to the player the majority of the time.

Leeches are silent when they teleport next to the player the majority of the time and the grab is also silent the majority of the time too, I genuinely stopped playing the game because of these 2 audio bugs. Im not willing to invest time into a game if my reward during games that can take over 90 mins is a random leech not making noise 1 time and then its over.

Hunters make no spawning sound, they either only make sound when they are flying through the air and extremely close to players/bots and by that time its too late because you are already disabled or they make no sounds at all.
Hunters instantly dying when climbing over specific walls.
Hunters instantly dying when flying through the air at players/bots, miss all of them and hit a wall instead, It seems this is intended on some walls depending on what they hit (Makes sense) But it should not happen on almost every single wall because its never worked like that.

Flamerats and banners are the only specials that actually seem to work and have no problems, I feel i was forced in writing another one of these posts like i did many years ago because its gotten that bad, Its not acceptable to leave a game in this state for this patches in a row.

I think things like this are similar to the way they work in left 4 dead. The director purposely makes an unfair situation where there’s like a 95% chance of you getting disabled around a corner with no indication the enemy was ever there - or obliterated by a gunner holding rainbow six siege angle on your team. It basically forces you to always be aware and helping your team in case they get grabbed or done dirty by the game.

As for the blatant audio issues, I’m pretty sure Fatshark gave up on trying to fix the audio bugs in their games years ago. Silent specials have only gotten worse over time.

dont forget that all of them spawn in pairs now…..i really hope they will fix it soon. Those bugs are up since december 2025 and nothing happened yet…
