The only effective training for legend is to play legend.
Different cleave, different number of hits to kill, different damage taken and given.

So that’s definitely not true. Map knowledge/item spawns, recognizing and understanding enemy attack animations, figuring out how to fight bosses, learning good positioning for ambushes and hordes, etc. are all things that are immensely valuable and can be learned on difficulties below Legend.
